Am I crazy or did you just describe NAFTA (which Trump maligned in his previous administration, but ultimately only renamed with slight tweaks) as well as the broad economic international institutions the U.S. built following WWII? Is “flipping the chess table” at all sane when we’ve spent decades ensuring others trust us as the reserve currency and stable platform?
